Don Ramón Cano Núñez, a carpenter by profession, began his activity in this sector in the 1940s, making coffins for families who needed them.

 In 1955, the company began its funeral service under the name Nuestra Señora del Rosario, in honor of the patron saint of Fuengirola. The first hearse on the coast was purchased, serving Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, San Pedro de Alcántara, and Estepona.

 After the founder's death, his children, in his memory, named the company Funeraria Ramón Cano, a name that prevails today.
